Damaged Teeth and Dental Appliances
If your tooth, crown, bridge, implant, or any other restoration becomes loose or dislodged, try to save the pieces and bring them with you to our office right away. Before coming in, please follow these steps:
- Gently clean the affected tooth or restoration using water, saliva, or milk.
- Try to reposition the tooth or restoration in its original place. If that’s not possible, keep it between your cheek and gum.
- Bite down on a wet towel or tea bag to secure the tooth or restoration in place.
- Use a cold compress on your cheek to reduce swelling.
Contact us to inform us about the issue and head to our office as quickly as possible. With our emergency dental services, we may be able to preserve your tooth and maintain your oral health.
